Summative Assessment:
-Show me how many pennies make one nickel.
-Show me how many nickels make one dime (how many nickels make one quarter, how many quarters make one dollar, etc.)
-Show me how you would make ($0.45) with the coins. Can you show me three ways to make $1.00?
- During work stations, the teacher will meet with students individually. The teacher will employ quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies during an interview. Questions may include:

- For a summative assessment quiz, one may administer the activity in the picture above
And/Or...
- Students may complete a lift-the-flap foldable without visual cues. The foldable must have four flaps- a penny, a nickel, a dime, and a quarter. The student should cut out images of each coin and paste them to the flaps of the foldable in ascending order. Beneath each flap, students should write the name of each coin, its worth/value, tally marks representing its value, and how many of said coin compose $1.00.
